Chichen Itza
I can't believe we just celebrated our 10 year anniversary!! Where does the time go?? It's crazy on one hand it seems like we just got married and on the other it's like we have always been together. Kindof like before kids.... you totally forget what life was like before they were born, they were just always there! Strange how that works!! Well we went on a very much over due "Carrie and Steven" time trip. We went to beautiful Isla Mujeres Mexico for 8 days and it was wonderful. Grammy and Paw Paw came up to watch the kids and they had a great time and survived too ( I think)! We have a fantastic time the entire week except for the last day when Steven lost his glasses to the ocean, we both got majorly sunburned and missed our connecting flight in Houston and had to wait until morning to leave. After all that we survived too being away from everyone, it was hard but we did it! Since we could not get home until Sunday afternoon Mom and Dad had to leave to head back home and I was so sad to not be able to see them before we got back.... We are so thankful for them coming up for a week and watching our kiddos. Thanks MOM and DAD, we love you!!
