update on emma!!

Update on Emma~ I am trying to do this on my phone so I hope it works. I know many of you are waiting to hear how today went.Well here goes....not how I had planned. Yesterday Emma was coughing on and off during the day and by the night she was not doing very well. I started her on treatments and by morning she started to feel better.I was bound and determined to make the test appts today! She was feeling good and did a Fantastic job durin her UGI and her Sweat test not ONE tear did she cry! She had still been coughing during the day so I decided since I did not have the boys I would take her into the dr  to see what this cough was all about. we got to the office at 1:30 and she was asleep. I carried her in and she just layed on me for the rest of the appt her pfts were horrible and her O2 was 97 after a treatment her O2 went down to 94 so they put her on oxygen..they then decided that she should be transfored over to cm downtown by transport vehicle since she was on O2 so they could monitor her. also when we got to the dr her temp was 100 after 3 hours at the dr office it went up to 103. So.......now we are in the hospital again and still with no answers just doing treatments and watching her. Hopefully we will find something out tomorrow. I will do my best to update something! please pray that we find out answers soon!! Emma is so brave I am so proud of her!!

My First Post!

I finally did it, can you believe it??.....now let's see if I can keep it  up!!

I started thinking about writing a blog when I was pregnant with Caleb and never got around to doing it until now, imagine that! I think this will be a great way to keep track of all the wonderful memories that we make as a family as well as sharing them with our family and friends. I hope you will enjoy our wild and crazy life!! This is also a place that I will be able to post info about Emma and her upcoming appts to help keep everyone informed so I do not forget to tell someone. Things get so hectic at times and I never want to overlook someone by mistake. We are so very blessed to have such wonderful family and friends in our lives. Thank you for all of your prayers and encouragement during this time in our lives. I know God is in control!! Love you all~ Carrie

Emma's Birthday!

This year Emma decided that she wanted to have a sleep over for her 6th Birthday. She had 5 of her friends come over and they had a blast!! They are such wonderful girls and they had so much fun together. Emma just got out of the hospital a couple of days before her party and it was the best medicine she could get!! The girls were so understanding that she could not run around and get rowdy and they just hung out and had fun! It was a great 6th birthday with  the best bunch of girls.  I foresee many more sleepovers with this bunch!!
